Nostalgia 

Single Channel Video, 2014

Nostalgia is a single channel video that explores the tension between truth and memory using iterative video processing and recordings of ham radio conversations about youth. A low resolution camera was used in this work to visually articulate the aesthetics of older media. The iterative video processing blends together over 4,000 layers of offset buffered video, rapidly switching between segments of recorded video into a blurry, unresolved impression of what came before.
