The Transmission

Shot across 1500 miles, “The Transmission” is a meditation on the landscape as a problematic metaphor for embedded definition. Each television, vertically oriented as to be a window into experience, further complicates the idea of transmitting personal experience as information. These recorded signals are subject to intermodulation, decoding errors, and fragmented forms, much like our linguistic attempts to convey meaning.
